Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from Amy Studio at shopamystudio.com. Please read them before you order. They don't affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. Who we are

  • shopamystudio.com is run by Ghangal Ltd, trading as Amy Studio.
  • Ghangal Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Placing an order

  • When you place an order, you're offering to buy the items in your basket. We'll send you an email confirming we've received it. That email isn't acceptance of your order.
  • The contract between us is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.
  • We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price was shown in error, or we can't deliver to your address. If we decline after taking payment, we'll refund you in full.
  • We sell to consumers in the United Kingdom only.

3. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).
  • UK delivery is free on all orders.
  • Payment is taken when you place your order, through Shopify's secure checkout.
  • If we find a pricing mistake after you've ordered, we'll contact you before dispatch. You can then choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Made to order

  • Every piece is made to order from plant-based PLA after you place your order.
  • We aim to dispatch within 1 to 2 working days. If we expect a longer delay, we'll let you know and you can cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

  • We deliver by Royal Mail Tracked 48 to UK addresses. Delivery times are Royal Mail's estimate, not a guarantee.
  • The items become your responsibility once they're delivered to the address you gave us.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

  • You can cancel for any reason within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • How cancellations, returns, exchanges, faulty items and lost parcels work is set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Product descriptions and colour

  • We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can.
  • Screens show colour differently, so the shade you receive may vary slightly from what you see online.
  • Each piece is made layer by layer, so small variations in layer lines and texture are normal and aren't a fault.
  • Please follow the care instructions on each product page.

8. Our responsibility to you

  • If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. Loss is foreseeable if it's obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was made.
  • We sell our products for domestic and private use. We aren't responsible for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
  • We aren't responsible for damage caused by misuse, including putting items in a dishwasher, in hot water or near direct heat.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Intellectual property

  • The Amy Studio name, our designs, product photos and the content on this website belong to us or our licensors.
  • You may not copy, reproduce or sell our designs or content without our written permission.

10. Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
  • You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

11. Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
