Ghangal Ltd is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. If you have any question about this policy or your information, email help@shopamystudio.com or write to us at the address above.

What we collect

  • Order details: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought.
  • Payment details: handled by Shopify Payments and the payment providers you choose (for example Apple Pay or PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through our contact form.
  • Email sign-up: your email address if you join our list, for example to get the 20% welcome code.
  • Browsing information: your device, browser, IP address, approximate location, the pages you view, what you add to your basket, and the website or ad that brought you here. This is collected with cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Why we use it

  • To make and deliver your order, take payment, send order and dispatch emails, and handle returns and refunds. We share your name and address with Royal Mail to deliver your parcel. (Legal basis: to carry out our contract with you.)
  • To answer your messages and help with any problem. (Legal basis: our legitimate interest in looking after customers.)
  • To send marketing emails, only if you have signed up. (Legal basis: your consent.)
  • To measure and improve our website and our advertising, for example to see which ads lead to orders and to show our ads to people likely to be interested. (Legal basis: your consent, given through our cookie banner.)
  • To prevent fraud and keep the shop secure. (Legal basis: our legitimate interest.)
  • To keep records we are required to keep, such as invoices for tax. (Legal basis: legal obligation.)

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

When you allow it in our cookie banner, we and the following companies use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure and personalise advertising:

  • Shopify, which hosts our shop and checkout
  • Microsoft Advertising (Universal Event Tracking) and Microsoft Clarity
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads)
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Pinterest, TikTok and Reddit

These companies may combine this information with what they already hold about you and use it under their own privacy policies.

How to opt out

  • Cookies: choose "Decline" in our cookie banner. To change your choice later, delete the cookies for shopamystudio.com in your browser and the banner will ask you again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
  • Personalised ads: Microsoft at account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings, Google at adssettings.google.com, Meta in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and across many companies at youronlinechoices.com/uk.
  • Marketing emails: click "unsubscribe" in any of our emails, or email us. We will still send emails about orders you place.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with companies that help us run the shop: Shopify (shop, checkout and email), payment providers, Royal Mail (delivery), Judge.me (product reviews, if you choose to leave one) and the advertising and analytics companies listed above. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or prevent fraud.

Some of these companies store information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK and US data bridge.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for 6 years, as UK tax law requires. We keep your email address for marketing until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept for up to 2 years after we last hear from you. Cookie data is kept for the periods set by each provider, usually no more than 2 years.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to: give you a copy of your information; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; and give it to you in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email help@shopamystudio.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Our shop is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
